Two gold bullion coins in my bag
I have just come home from holiday and unpacked my bag. You would never believe what I"ve found! They were lying at the bottom of my bag. At first I thought they were 2 euro coins, but after I took one in my hand, I immediately realised that was not the case. I have two gold gold bullion from the 1930"s. Now I can"t think where I might have got them. Three weeks ago, I left home and took a train to one of the most popular sea resorts in my country. I had booked a room in a small hotel three days earlier. I checked in and unpacked some of the things, but not all. I spent the following weeks lying on the beach, walking in the forests and visiting nearby towns. I wore different clothes, and always put them back in the bag after they were dirty and I did not feel like washing them in the hotel. Perhaps somebody gave me these bullion coins (but when and why, I have no idea), I put them in my jeans pocket, then put the jeans in the bag and the coins fell out of the pocket and landed at the bottom! Well, that"s a theory, and sounds quite plausible, but as I said, I don"t remember anybody giving me gold bullion coins! And I have never drunk too much alcohol. I"m always aware of where I am and what I"m doing. Anyway, the coins are a nice souvenir. I guess I will put them in my drawer and think of this holiday every time I look at them.
