Perhaps I will sell gold one day
Perhaps I will sell gold one day and do something I have always dreamed of. I have some gold hidden in my safe. I inherited it from my dad who died six years ago. I know that I might need it one day so I am afraid to sell it just like that and spend the money. You never know what will happen in your life, do you? But on the other hand, you live only once. I have always dreamed of visiting Nepal. I want to hike in the wonderful, rocky mountains, walk in the forests and visit the beautiful Hindu temples. I actually have a friend who has visited Nepal. He"s an experienced mountaineer. He showed me some photos taken during his expedition and I absolutely fell in love with the place. He is a member of a sports club which belongs to one of the local colleges. Each year they travel to India, China or Nepal. He has already told me how much it would cost if I wanted to go, too. Unfortunately, I don"t have that much money. I don"t think I will get a pay rise soon, so the only way to make my dream come true would be to sell gold that I am keeping in the safe. If I decide to do so, I will probably not regret it now. I will remember the trip till the end of my life. On the other hand, I might regret selling the gold in the future, when I really need money for something else.
