Cancelled theory test

I have just answered a phone call from the driving examination centre. I booked my theory test last Monday and I was supposed to take it tomorrow. But the secretary has just informed me the test has been cancelled. They are having some problems with the wiring system in the examination centre. As soon as they have it fixed, they will call me again and I will have to rebook my test. Of course, I would prefer to take it tomorrow. I work in the mornings, and the tests are usually available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. I will have to ask my boss again to let me leave the office for a couple of hours. But he knows that it is important to me to pass my theory test. It would be really convenient if I had a driving licence and he could delegate me to do some more important tasks. At the moment, I just have to sit in the office and answer phone calls and e-mails. But the truth is, I"m not sure if I will stay in this job if I pass my driving licence tests. I should not have problems finding a better job then. My boss is not aware of the fact that I have become slightly bored with working for his company. As soon as I pass my theory test, I will book my practical examination test. I want to get my driving licence as soon as possible and then start looking for new opportunities.
